The name Prevôt first came to Cologne in the early nineteenth century,  when one of our French ancestors arrived in the city. He came as a soldier in Napoleon’s army,  fell in love and stayed. It wasn’t just the unique beauty of the Rhineland that captured his heart. He appreciated all the things here that make life worth living: good food and wine, a warm atmosphere and excellent company. This appreciation has remained in our family for generations.
